# Stages of Maturity I'm sharing my documents in various stages of maturity. You'll often see icons at the bottom of articles indicating their current maturity. Sticking with the common digital garden metaphor, you'll see: ![[Digital Garden Seedling 01 small2.png]] Seedlings - articles I'm just starting and may heavily modify or delete in the future. ![[Digital Garden Sapling 01 small.png]] Saplings (budding) - articles that are developing. They have more form and more thought put into them than the Seedlings. They still need to be nurtured before they mature into Evergreens. ![[Digital Garden Evergreen 01 small.png]] Evergreens - articles that are in a (mostly) mature state. I'm unlikely to make major revisions to them. I may eventually use these in formal publications. Look for these symbols at the end of the articles.
